We have talked often about how there are many different CNC plasma cutting systems available on the market. They all boast a variety of features, sizes and price points. Some come with software, some do not. But, in the end, when you invest in an EZCutCNC CNC plasma cutting system, you are getting the most complete system available on the market. At EZCutCNC, we pride ourselves on the fact that we have what we have labeled ‘Value Components’ that truly set us apart from other CNC plasma system manufacturers. These value components include things like CNC plasma table boundaries that are determined by electronic proximity optical sensors, Z-axis motion that is fully enclosed and rides on linear bearings, side rails and gantry, custom-built end trucks that protect the drive system on both sides of the table, state-of-the-art software, table versatility (our tables can be configured as a down draft table, water table, or hybrid), complete documentation of your system and its components, on-site training, excellent CNC plasma cutter choices, and more.

But, while you are getting a truly complete CNC plasma cutting system, there are still a few things that you or your fabrication shop will need to supply that your CNC plasma system manufacturer is unable to supply. Some of these things you will likely already have in place but if you find that you do not, we can offer assistance determining what you will need and help you acquire certain components that you need. Below are the 3 things your fabrication shop needs in order to be able to CNC plasma cut.

3 Things Your Fabrication Shop Needs to CNC Plasma Cut

  1. Your fabrication shop must be able to supply the electrical wiring to the plasma cutter and system controller and electrical disconnect boxes.
  2. Your fabrication shop must be able to supply air and gas piping to the plasma cutter as well as air dryer/filters for clean and dry air.  If you need assistance with this, we offer an industry-leading desiccant air dryer.
  3. Your fabrication shop must have adequate ductwork and an exhaust fan for the down draft system. If you need assistance with this, we offer a variety of fan options and can provide solutions for controlling exhaust smoke to ensure safety and efficiency.
