CNC Plasma Cutters and HVAC Systems

Installing a furnace or central air conditioner in a home or office is not extremely difficult. The furnace or air conditioner arrives fully assembled and ready to go once it is hooked up to the power supply. The difficult part of installation and the work that costs so much is installing the system to get the hot air and the cool air around the house or office space because all that air has to be carried through a series of ducts and those ducts are not very easy to install. They have to go through walls, under floors, through narrow spaces next to architectural anomalies, etc. In other words, each house and office is a project that is completely unique and a challenge. Of course, if you are a contractor fortunate enough to be installing such ductwork in new tract homes where they are the same home over and over again, then you are by far the exception to that rule, but even then, each project will have its own difficulties and quirks. You will just be dealing with them multiple times.

So, although ductwork comes in fairly standard parts that are just meant to be assembled to custom fit each home or office, sometimes the pre-made parts just are not adequate for your needs. Maybe you have a particularly narrow passage to put the ductwork through, or an extra sharp turn in a narrow place or something similar. What can you do when faced with a situation where standard parts will not work? In the past, you would have had to make your own part, perhaps by cutting down or re-welding an already existing part. This would have maybe been done with hand tools and would have taken a great deal of time as you cut, fit, re-cut, and re-fit until the part worked in the space you needed it to be.

CNC Plasma Cutter

With the invention and perfection of the CNC plasma cutting system, this just is no longer the case. Either exactly on site, or perhaps back at the office, parts can be cut from the necessary aluminum thickness with ease and convenience. These parts can then be bent and shaped easily and, with very little filing if any, be welded and ready to go very quickly. And if you are working on a group of homes or offices all sharing that same anomaly, then you can cut as many pieces as necessary to make sure they all get done correctly and quickly. The CNC plasma cutting system works from a computer program, so with a few quick entries onto a computer, and imagine the possibilities now with mobile computing, the CNC plasma cutting system will cut the part exactly to specifications. And it will cut that same part over and over again absolutely perfectly, as many times as you need it created.

Of course, the part still has to be bent and welded, but there will be no need to keep refitting or re-cutting. It will already be exactly the right size for your project. Because of this ease and convenience that comes with the CNC plasma cutting system, installing the ductwork necessary for a complete new fitting of a furnace or air conditioner, or both, will be a much more straightforward project.
